History & Expertise
How it started
- 1892 – In 1892, Melhem Ibrahim Khalaf, the second-degree uncle of Samir Khalaf, became a Lebanese lawyer and conducted a law firm. He outperformed in the legal profession and doctrine.
- In 1904, Melhem and his brother Najib Khalaf invented the Law Magazine. Najib also became a lawyer in 1906.
- 1982 – In 1982, Samir Khalaf began his professional career as a lawyer. He received a bachelor’s degree in Law and a master’s degree in Private Law from the Lebanese University. He took the oath in front of Issam Khoury, the President of Beirut Bar Association, and started working at Mounir El-Hajj law firm.
- 1989 – In 1989, Wadih Khalaf, a Lebanese lawyer, started working with Samir Khalaf, which led to a collaboration between Al Othman and Khalaf Law Firm, located in Kuwait.
- 1995 – In 1995, Samir Khalaf founded his own Law firm in Furn El Chebbak, Lebanon, with Wadih Khalaf's assistance.
- 2010 – In 2010, KAP Law Firm relocated to Zalka, Lebanon.
- 2023 – KAP Law Firm, by our new team, serves our clients wherever they are.
